A Third Street Preschool Prep Class

This is a preschool prep class and mirrors a preschool class day in a shorter time.

Twice a week for a longer time, Waddlers is a bridge from caregiver and me to a more robust preschool experience.

Waddlers is a caregiver and me program designed for children 16-24 months old, that provides fun and engaging activities that support socialization and language development.

Waddlers will give you tools to support your child's growth and will provide a deeper understanding of your child’s development. In Waddlers, we focus on music and intentional play and building stamina for a preschool day. Waddlers split their time between the classroom and a soft-play space for more music and fun.

Intentional Play:

Third Street Preschool Waddlers develop essential cognitive skills such as problem-solving, decision-making, and creativity through play. They learn to make connections, experiment with different solutions, and engage in imaginative thinking.

Music and the Arts:

Engaging in music and arts activities encourages Waddlers to explore their creativity and express themselves in different ways. Our Waddlers will have visits from Third Street Music School musicians and live music accompaniment. Whether it's through painting, drawing, singing, or dancing, these activities provide outlets for self-expression and imagination. Children will develop their fine motor skills and build hand eye coordination.

Experiential Learning:

Experiential learning allows our Waddlers opportunity to discover and learn through doing. At Third Street Preschool our Waddlers engage in activities that build collaboration, fosters communication skills, build empathy, and support conflict resolution while boosting self-confidence.
