THIRD STREET MUSIC & DANCE SCHOOL
Third Street is the proud home of the nation’s longest running community music school.
Come for the music, stay for the community!
Learning at Third Street
There are many methods for teaching music. The most effective teachers bring the best of what they have learned through their own training and experience and develop an approach that enables them to respond to the needs of each individual student. In general, the traditional approach to music study integrates note reading and playing with a customized repertoire based on the student’s needs and interests.
Music at Every Age
It is never too late or too early to experience the joy of learning music. Third Street's faculty are in-tune with the needs of our "classic" students and Third Street offers music making experiences for communities 18+.
Performance Opportunities
Public performances boost students’ confidence and encourage them to set and achieve artistic goals. With more than 250 recitals, concerts, and events by students, faculty, and guest artists each year, performance is an integral part of Third Street’s artistic life.
